Dayspring Parent Meeting

Children are not encouraged to attend the parent meetings. Please note that childcare is NOT available at parent meetings. HOWEVER, THIS MAY SERVICE PROJECT MEETING IS ONE THAT WE ENCOURAGE FAMILIES, INCLUDING CHILDREN, TO ATTEND. CHILDREN WILL NEED TO STAY WITH THEIR PARENTS.

General Information about our Regular Parent Meetings During the School Year (Sept-May):

The meetings are held the 2nd Monday of every month from 7-9pm at White Plains Methodist Annex Building (see directions below).  Everyone is welcome to attend.  You do not need to be a member -- we'd like for you to come and "check us out" if you are new to home schooling and are looking for a support group.  If you have any questions, send email to .

Directions to Church:  White Plains Methodist ANNEX building (not the main church).  It is located at 500 SE Maynard Road in Cary between Walnut and Kildaire at the corner of Maynard and Greenwood. 

** A comment about the building location:  It is easy to miss.  So, keep your eye out for:  a very small sign, the building sits down on the lot behind shrubbery, and it is in a curve.  Also, it is the first building to the right after the big church if you are coming from Kildaire Farm Road, or the fourth left after passing Barnes and Nobles.

Dayspring Park Days

Park Days for pre-school and elementary-aged kids (usually through 3rd grade) are held every Friday, beginning September 7, 2007 through June 2008. For the 1st, 3rd and 5th Fridays of each month, we will meet at the Crowder District Park in Apex, 4709 Ten Ten Road, Apex 27539. For the 2nd and 4th Fridays of each month, we will meet at the Lazy Daze playground at Bond Lake Park in Cary, 801 High House Road, Cary 27513. During the month of MAY, we will meet in the afternoons at 2:30. During the month of JUNE, we will meet in the mornings at 10:00.

Park Days are open to both Dayspring Members and Non-members. This is a great opportunity to meet other Dayspring homeschool moms and children, to ask questions about Dayspring and to 'check us out'.

Dayspring Teen Group

Teens who are not Dayspring members are welcome to contact Joanna Emery for more details regarding our events. You are welcome to attend an event, but if you are interested in joining the teens on a routine basis, we ask that you join Dayspring.
